Medicaid Programs Astin Home Care Provides

Astin Home Care is a licensed Georgia CCSP & SOURCE Medicaid Waiver provider, as well as a provider of the Structured Family Caregiving Program.

Community Care Services Program (CCSP)

Astin Home Care is proud to provide the Community Care Services Program in the Metro Atlanta area. CCSP is a waiver program through Medicaid that allows eligible persons to access home and community-based social, health, and support services. Receiving these services enables the person(s) to continue living in their home instead of being placed in a nursing facility. The DCH Department of Community Health Division of Medicaid works with the State’s 12 Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) to run the program in the Metro Atlanta area and throughout Georgia.

SOURCE Medicaid Waiver

Astin Home Care is also a Service Options Using Resources in a Community Environment (SOURCE) Medicaid provider that serves frail elderly and disabled beneficiaries. Our services work to improve the health outcomes of persons with chronic health conditions by offering non-skilled services for patients in their homes.

Do you have further inquiries about the SOURCE Medicaid Waiver? Give us a call today and we’ll be happy to answer all of your questions. Our office staff is ready for your call!

Structured Family Caregiver Program (SFC)

Do you provide care for a senior or disabled love one? If you are a primary caregiver you may eligible for Georgia’s Structured Family Caregiving Program (SFC). Family members providing personal support services or personal care tasks such as assistance with eating, bathing, or other daily activities may be eligible for financial compensation. To qualify for this program, caregivers must either be biological relatives, related via marriage (a daughter-in-law or son-in-law), or live with their family member as their primary caregiver. The senior or disabled individual must be Medicaid eligible and be a part of the CCSP or SOURCE waiver program.

Astin Home Care agency is a provider of the structured family caregiving program, offering access to ongoing support and coaching. Reach out to us today to see if you qualify. For more information on how to get compensated through SFC call Astin Home Care today!

Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefit

As owners of Astin Home Care and proud parents of 3 active duty sons, we would like to thank you for your service and showing our gratitude to the brave soldiers — the heroes who fought for the country.

In 1952, Congress passed Title 38 of the United States Code, creating what we now call the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), authorizing benefits for veterans. One of these benefits is the Non-Service Connected Pension with “Aid & Attendance.”

Even though the pension has been around for 60 years, very few people know about it or understand how it works. Our affiliate partner has 11 years of experience in successfully helping veteran families apply for and receive the pension to pay for home care. As a well-known provider of non-medical home care services in Atlanta, Georgia, we can truly help our patients in so many ways.

Please complete the form below if you are interested in our in-home care services for a veteran or surviving spouse of a veteran. We can help assist you with the application process. We can also expedite the process to determine your availability.
